Below is the documentation for InPost's proprietary Shopify solution for InPost International services. It contains information about the installation and configuration of the plugin.
The plugin is available on the Shopify app store
App available to Shopify customers (functional requirement for the app to work:
store must have access to Carrier Service API
Advanced or Shopify plan paid annually
The plugin does not have a Geowidget map → it requires the user to enter an address with a valid postal code based on which available pick-up points will be determined

Authorization
Production / test environment
Before installing, you must have access credentials to connect to the API:
Login and password
In order to connect to InPost services, it is required to obtain a login and password.
To obtain authorization data, contact InPost through the form:
Granting Access to API → API International → Environment: Production or Sandbox (for service testing only)

Connecting to InPost services is done by redirecting to the website. Please make sure that you have pop-up permissions enabled in your browser.
Installation
Install the app from the Shopify App Store
Steps:
Log in to the Shopify App Store
Find the InPost International app, then click it
On the app's offer page, click Add app
To authorize the use of the app, click Install app in the Shopify dashboard
Once the app is installed, you can view and use it on the Apps page in the Shopify dashboard.

Configuration - tabs
To configure the plug-in, we go to the InPost International application. Several tabs appear there, below we explain what they mean.
(The changes you make should be saved, by clicking the Save Settings button at the bottom of the screen)
Authorization (Login Details)
Połącz z kontem InPost | This button is responsible for connecting to API International. When pressed, you are redirected to the login panel. There you need to enter login/email and password. After entering the correct data, the user is redirected to the application and the button becomes inactive and displays information about the currently logged in account. The application does not require logging in again, the association with the account is permanent. ![]()

A sandbox test environment is not required to run the application, which can be run immediately in production mode |

Services
The tab allows you to configure shipping services
Be sure to complete all sections in the Services tab so that the application can be enabled to share with users. Before leaving the page, save your settings

Please note the maximum available dimensions supported by the service Shopify does not collect product dimensions; only the weights of individual products, which are optional from the product level |

Shipments - management
A place to manage orders and shipments. We can manage them in bulk or by going into individual orders.
Note: an order that uses InPost delivery will automatically appear in the app under the Shipments tab
List/Filtering
The table contains the following columns:
checkbox to select shipments individually or all in the list
shipment number (link to details/tracking, external link, new tab)
order number, link to order details
shipment status
shipment price
service
features of the shipment
method of shipment
date of order creation
date of shipment
recipient's data
reference number
print action also available in bulk
Getting acquainted with the consecutive events of the shipment is possible after clicking on the “Shipment No.” item. The user is redirected to the InPost tracking system.
The shipment status displayed in the table refers to the order responsible for creating the shipment.
The user can filter the table by the following filters:
shipment number (text field)
shipment status (selection list)
order creation date (datepicker)
date of shipment dispatch (datepicker)
service (selection list)
method of shipment (selection list)
phone number (text field)
email address (text box)
reference number (text field)

By pressing the button (The button is available for orders for which a tracking number has not been generated.) We can go to a detailed view of a specific order in the InPost International app
order details is a special view inside the Shopify app that provides a full summary of the user's order, including products, total cost, address and billing information
InPost app order details are not the same as Shopify order details (different view)
The order details view is divided into 2 sections:
The left section is customer data and order details
The right section is used to generate the shipment
The user can:
define a service → the service selected by the customer at the order stage is loaded by default
change the parcel machine selected by the customer
change the pickup address selected by the customer
define shipment size
define insurance value
After verifying the data, click Create Shipment - a shipment number will be assigned in the “Shipment Number” field
An alternative path to create a shipment is:
Opening the Shopify orders view, which also shows the shipping details to the point:
Display the details of the order and open the menu with the selection of the “Create InPost International shipment” application:
Downloading labels
Once the shipment has been created, the user can download the label and proceed to track the shipment:
Click Download Label
Select Print - it will automatically start downloading the label
Excluded products
Using this tab, it is possible to exclude products for which it is possible to choose delivery via InPost International
