The Merchant – InPost Pay integration includes the following elements:

  • InPost Pay Widget - a widget that makes it possible to integrate the Merchants’ websites (frontend) with the backend of the Merchants' platform, and which provides access to the Merchant Backend API methods on the Merchant's backend that will be “called” by the InPost Pay service.

  • InPost Pay (Basket_App) - a module that provides access to the API that allows to exchange information about the basket and process the order.

Term

Definition

InPost Pay

The entire IT solution consisting of several systems that handle the process of finalizing the purchase by the user in the InPost Mobile app.

InPost Mobile

The currently functioning InPost app that allows to track, send, and return shipments.

Merchant

A store/platform that offers product sales online, integrated with InPost Pay.

Basket

One or several products selected by the user on the Merchant's website. The contents of the basket are passed to InPost Pay.

User

An end user who makes a purchase at a Merchant's platform and has the InPost Mobile app.

Bank

Bank – payment operator.

InPost Pay Widget

An element embedded on the Merchant's website that allows to select the Kup z InPost Pay (Buy with InPost Pay) option, and to link a browser to the InPost Mobile app. The Widget is used for pairing using a phone number/QR code, or to quickly add items to an InPost Pay basket for a registered user.

Order

This is a basket for which the payment process has been initiated.

Trusted/linked browser

Web browser instance operating on a specific device, added to trusted browsers in the InPost Mobile app. Only a trusted browser may be used to add products to the basket in InPost Mobile.
